Why America 250th Matters
The 250th Anniversary is more than a celebration, it is a moment of national reflection. It challenges us to ask enduring questions:
- How have the founding ideals of liberty and self-government evolved?
- Whose stories have shaped America’s journey?
- How do preservation, place, and memory inform our future?
The Kellerman Foundation believes historic preservation plays a vital role in answering these questions. By safeguarding meaningful places and activating them with thoughtful programming, we help ensure that history is not static, but alive.
